2012 National SAM Awards – Peninsula Wins GOLD

We are trilled to announce that the Peninsula Residence was awarded Best New Single-Detached Home over 4,000 Square Feet in the 2012 National SAM Awards.

The CHBA National SAM Awards  is the premier competition for new homes, home renovations, community development, marketing and sales.  The awards recognize outstanding performance in new homes and renovation design, innovative technology and construction techniques, and outstanding marketing and sales activities. The competition is open to all new home builders, renovator and developer members of the CHBA. An independent panel of judges selected from across the country reviews all entries.

“Each of these National SAM Award winners has demonstrated leadership and produced leading-edge products,” CHBA President Ron Olson said. “Every award recognizes an outstanding success and I congratulate all the winners.”

This KB Design project was built by Coastal Construction and has garnered several awards this past year. Congratulations to Coastal Construction for not only the SAM Award, but also for their Gold award at the 2012 Georgie Awards – Best Single Family Kitchen under $100,000.

Peninsula Residence – Silver Finalist in Georgie Awards

Congratulations to Coastal Construction! The Peninsula Residence, a KB Design project built by Coastal, is a Silver Finalist in two Gold award categories for the 2012 Georgie Awards!

• Best Single Family Kitchen under $100,000

• Best Master Suite

2012 CARE Awards – Best Design Concept

The 2012 CARE Awards were held on September 14th at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, and KB Design was up for 11 Gold awards, being a Silver finalist in 9 categories.

Although we didn’t come away with Gold in all our categories, we were extremely pleased to have won Gold for Best Home Design Concept!

This award, given out for the first time this year, is for a home design concept, not yet built. It recognizes KB Design for the design of a project itself. Often awards are shared between the builder and the designer, which we love! But this award has extra meaning for us in that it recognizes the fine work of designers prior to the build/construction phase of a new home.

KB Design congratulates all the 2012 Gold CARE Award winners.
